ABOUT OUI CONFERENCE

The 15th International Open and User Innovation Conference will be held from 10-12 July, 2017 at the University of Innsbruck, Austria.

The OUI Conference is the leading academic conference on Open and User Innovation. Around 250 top researchers from various disciplines (such as innovation management, strategic management, organization design, marketing, intellectual property right management, entrepreneurship, and public policy) meet annually, in order to exchange recent research findings and plans related to Open and User Innovation.

SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:

If you wish to present your research at the OUI Conference 2017, you need to submit a paper or poster embodying your research by April 20, 2017 (11:59 pm CEST).

If you would like to present a paper, you will need to select a track and then provide the paper’s title, abstract (up to 500 words), name of the author(s), and a blind PDF version of the full paper (no author information). Please use this template as a guide for the paper formatting. If the paper is accepted, the author will be given a 10-15 min. slot in which to present during the conference.

Once you have successfully submitted a paper, you will receive an email confirming submission. On May 11, 2017, you will be informed if your submission was accepted. At this time, you will also receive information about registering for the conference. If you would like to register prior to May or need a visa application assistance, please email oui2017@uibk.ac.at

A “poster” session in OUI terminology is a 4 minute (4-slide) presentation of research work in progress to about 100 people.
To evaluate whether your talk is worth the collective 400 minutes your audience will invest in hearing you, we need information on your project ideas and progress to date.
If you wish to present research not yet completed or in the planning stages, you will need to provide the title, names of the author(s), and an extended abstract (up to 1,000 words) in place of the paper describing your research idea, and progress made to date. You must upload a blind PDF version of the poster (no author information). Please use this template as a guide for the poster formatting. If the poster is accepted, the author will be given a 3-5 min. slot in which to present during the workshop.

Once you have successfully submitted the poster, you will receive an email confirming submission. On May 11, 2017, you will be informed if your submission was accepted. At this time, you will also receive information about registering for the conference.
